Location
The Old Manor House is situated close to the historic centre of Wirksworth, Derbyshire, on the edge of the Peak District National Park. Only a short walk away is the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway and the Wirksworth Heritage Centre. Other local attractions include Chatsworth House, Kedleston Hall and The Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage sites.

3 hours dependent on the time of day. East Midlands Airport, to the south, is the nearest Airport with a journey time of about 1 hour, by car. Alternatively Manchester Airport is about 1 hour and 15 minutes to the north, by car, driving through the Peak National Park.

Leave the M1 junction 28. Take A38 towards Ripley, at roundabout take A610 to Ambergate. At T junction turn right towards Whatstandwell and on to Cromford. At the traffic lights turn left towards Wirksworth (B5023), on entering Wirksworth turn left at cross roads in Market Place into Coldwell Street, continue past the lamp in the middle of the cross roads. The Old Manor House can be seen 100yds on the left.
